Central Virginia
Where Respect is Learned
What’s this world coming to?
We ask that question a lot these days.
The answer — Thank the Lord we were raised in Central Virginia.
That said, the world is filled with a lot of urban hate nowadays.
Wouldn’t you agree?
Makes us sick to our stomach, actually.
Guess that’s neither here or there. But if you were raised in the woods of Central Virginia, you know you’re different than these heathens running around cities burning shit down.
You know this because your mom and dad taught you better.
Yeah, they taught you a little something about having some respect.
You learned to keep your ass in line if you were raised Central Virginia Outdoors. And the learning curve….
Well, that curve was steep.
We won’t get into that learning curve right now, but you understand that learning respect came with a price tag growing as a Central Virginian.
You know the drill if you’ve lived it.
Might’ve been a little hard at times. Might’ve been a lot of work. And you might’ve wanted some friends around when you were cutting acres of field-grass all summer.
But you got by just fine, didn’t you?
Because you learned to tough things out. You learned to love your family. And you saw the value in helping others around you.
Yeah, you now have a lot more respect for them older rural ways, don’t you?
