Master of Arms
Meet Hal Killam, CVA Outdoors’ firearms and weapons analyst. It goes without saying, we are very fortunate to have this man onboard as a field expert. Because he’s one of the sharpest men we know. And you guessed it — he’s another one of the boys straight outta Chesterfield County, VA.
These days, Killam currently lives in Paw Paw, Michigan. But as they say — you can take the boy out of Central Virginia, but you’ll never take Central Virginia out of the boy.
That said, during the day, Killam works for Lowe’s as a Project Specialist for Exteriors. But in his off-time he teaches his daughters the art of angling, how to explore the outdoors… and of course, how to re-fill 140 grain Creedmore rounds.
A special dad indeed.
Killam has been married to love of his life, Amy, for 10 years, and together they invest much of their time towards their two little girls Lydia and Halle.
When asked if he hunts deer out in Michigan he says, “No, It’s too damn cold, but I smoke a few off my deck from time to time.”
As you can tell, when it comes to Killam holding a firearm, it’s not his first rodeo. He’s been collecting guns since he was a kid, ever since his uncles got him into it. Killam says he still shoots his first .22 rifle regularly to whack the chipmunks in the yard.
Long story short, when people wanna know about guns, they call Hall Killam. So if that’s you, please feel free to reach out to him if you ever have any questions.
