Good looking setup. That -45 offset is a stretch. You will need to trim the front fender and rear fender wells. But brotha, this one looked good when she rolled out.
The go-to bait we reach for on any given overcast-weather day. If there is anything we specialize in, it’s fishing.
That said, this specific frog has put more bass in our boat more than any other lure.
The only draw back to the bait is the belly button on the frog.
You’ll notice that after a series bass bust this bait’s ass, the belly button on the frog will become weak. This allows for water to fill up the hollow frog. The frog will longer work properly once this happens.
Make sure you buy a few.
We love the black and blue Lunkerhunt walking frog but other colors work and are available.
What makes this little frog the best is the tassel- style legs. It only takes a small twitch of the line to mimmick the look of a real frog. Pretty awesome lure.
After multiple discussions with friends, we found much of what we’ve discussed here in this article. It’s regarding the conversion of an AR-15 556/223 to a Grendel. But we’ll start with the nuts and bolts.
When it comes rifles, like many, hunting with shotguns was the only thing I knew. There was no knowledge other than plinking beer cans with an old bolt-action twenty-two.
Since I grabbed a Smith & Wesson M&P II sport a couple years back, I figured I’d play catch up with the boys. The boys at the hunt club turned me onto researching either a Grendel 6.5 or Blackout 300.

Takeaways
The 6.5 Creedmor requires an AR-10 lower receiver. These 6.5’s are not the same.
You can convert your AR-15 into a 6.5 Grendel using a Grendle upper with your existing AR-15 lower.
